About Us

Greymate Care was born out of a need to fill a gap widening in the social care industry. From exhaustive research, this gap is influenced by the high rate of care worker turnover and low staff retention due to premature burnout. This is caused by a number of factors including an ageing population pushing demand on care sector to an endpoint and recent changes in immigration law reducing the number of suitably skilled care professionals in the country.

Having worked as a care professional for many years, the founder was able to pinpoint and forecast remedies to mitigate the influencing factors with a focus on how to make care service better.

Greymate Care overall service consists of weekdays/nights, weekends and overnight care for adults from 18 to 65 years old and the elderly 65+ in the following areas of Aberdeen city and shire:
